In this first episode I dive into the opening of Hibike! Euphonium and talk through the scenes that introduce Kumiko, Reina, and the early dynamics of Kitauji’s concert band. I give a recap of what happens and then get into the emotional beats, character moments, and musical touches that make this opening so strong.
