Did the Academy Get 2009 Right?

Is it possible for the Academy to actually get it right? What would that look like? Is it possible to measure the movies they felt warranted the potential naming of Best Picture against those that didn't get the opportunity? In this series I examine what films I feel the academy should have nominated for Best Picture and which should have been crowned with that title.
