  • E26 Online Obession: The Murder of Amy Boyer
    Apr 10 2025

There she is. Taunting me like always.

“She broke my heart and now she’s going to work like it’s nothing. I loved her so much, she was everything to me, she invaded my every thought and there she goes, living her life as normal.”

    “That all ends today.”

It’s close to 4:30pm and 21-year-old Liam Youens is in his car, watching the life of his life, Amy Boyer make her way to her car from work to go home.

Amy has no idea Youens is watching her, she has no idea that she’s the love of his life and Amy has no idea Youens has a Glock 9mm semiautomatic handgun with him, in his car.

This is the Tragic case and murder of Amy Boyer, now on Despicable Beings.

  • E25 He Dismembered His Father and Used Him as a TV Stand: The Murder of William Spiller
    Mar 12 2025

Nathan Robinson is watching tv. He spent the entire day cleaning every inch of the flat he shares with his father, William Spiller. And yes, he did make a mistake and flooded the bathroom floor, so much so that it soaked through to his downstairs neighbours flat and had ‘pink water droplets’ coming through the ceiling.

But that’s over now and Nathan can to relax in front of the TV before travelling to Glasgow with his friends the next day.

“let’s quickly make sure I’m not missing anything before I leave.”

“I put everything in containers, then I cleaned up, I paid the rent, and I told our neighbour, David that dad went on holiday with his girlfriend, Glenys. Yep, that’s everything.”

But Nathan Robinson was lying, his father William was still in the flat. In fact, Robinson was watching TV with him, William was even holding the TV up, well his body was, well parts of his body were. The parts of the body that was place into the container, that’s now acting as the TV stand.

This is the murder of William Spiller, now on Despicable Beings.

  • E24 Who killed the Miyazawa Family? And ate Ice Cream After?
    Feb 20 2025

On Sunday 31st of December 2000, in Tokyo’s Setagaya Ward, Haruko was worried. She hasn’t been able to contact her daughter, Yasuko Miyazawa, all morning. I mean it’s not too surprising, she’s probably preparing for the new year with her husband, Mikio and two children 8-year-old Niina and 6-year-old Rei, but still, who’s too busy to contact their mother?

But when Haruko tried to call Yasuko again, she realised the Miyazawa home phone had been disconnected. This was so unusual and started to really concern Haruko. She wondered if something was wrong and thought, “I’ll just pop in to check on them.”

Luckily, Haruko only lived next door so this would be a quick task to ease her nerves. When she knocks on the door Haruko hopes Yasuko will open the door with a warm smile, wave her mum in and tell her, “Oh mum you worry too much,” and the two would laugh about the whole thing over breakfast. Instead, Haruko knocks on the door and silence. Haruko is now extremely distressed, she bought her spare key, so she opens the door to the Miyazawa home, and she’s greet by a mortifying sight, one she would never forget.

Little did Haruko know she had discovered a crime that would still be unsolved even after 24 years.

This is the case of the Miyazawa family now on Despicable Beings.
