Welcome to "Desire to Thrive", my podcast where I take you with me on my journey to building a business as a working mum. I share with you the lessons, the wins, the stories and especially the challenges.

To be completely honest, I started this podcast as a challenge to help me get better at speaking and get comfortable with being in and sharing my truth. And let me tell you, it has been an interesting journey but I am so glad I started it.

I started my coaching because I wanted to help others the way coaching has helped me - getting out of my own way.

In my 9 - 5 career, I have been so lucky to coach so many individuals to help them perform their best in their line of work. In 2018, I decided that I wanted to help people do that in their lives as well. In 2022, I decided to go give it my all to see what I can create through my business - so you're joining me right in the middle of my journey. Welcome to the ride!

I hope this little corner of the podcast world will empower you to take control of your own vision for your future and encourage you in times of growth and energetic upgrades.

  • 34 How I Measure the Success of My Day (And Why It Has Nothing to Do with a To-Do List)

In this episode of The Desire to Thrive Podcast, I’m sharing something deeply personal that’s completely transformed how I move through my days — especially as a mum, a wife, a business owner, and someone with a big vision for the future.

For the last 6–8 months, I’ve stopped measuring the success of my day by how much I get done. Instead, I’ve started asking: Do I feel calm in my body? Proud of myself? Accomplished in my heart?

And let me tell you — this simple shift has created more impact, joy, and momentum than any perfectly ticked-off to-do list ever has.

I talk you through exactly how I do this, why this feminine, feelings-first approach actually creates more tangible results (not less), and how this has become my blueprint for navigating motherhood, ambition, business, and self-trust — all without burning out.

If you're craving a more soul-aligned way of living and creating, this one’s for you.

    In this episode, I share:

    • Why I stopped using to-do lists to measure my self-worth
    • How I now define a “successful day” as a mum and business owner
    • How nervous system regulation became my productivity tool
    • What changed when I started creating from the feeling of success first
    • How I find time for everything, even with two young kids and a part-time job
    • A peek into my personal rituals for grounding, presence, and clarity
    • An invitation to join me inside System Reset (link in the show notes!)

    _____________________________________________________________________________________________

    1. How to feel accomplished every day — even if your to-do list isn’t done
    2. Feminine productivity hacks for mothers with big dreams
    3. Why feeling calm is the key to sustainable success
    4. Ditch hustle culture: a softer, smarter way to measure success
    5. Daily success rituals for ambitious women in motherhood
    6. Nervous system regulation as your productivity superpower
    7. How to thrive in business and motherhood without burning out
    8. Energy-first productivity: create more by doing less
    9. What happens when you prioritize emotional alignment over task completion
    10. Breathwork and hypnosis tools to reset your life and reclaim your time

In this episode, I’m sharing a deeply personal moment from my own healing journey—a three-day “cold war” with my husband that cracked something wide open inside me.

I talk about the emotional triggers that come up in relationships, especially in the messy middle of motherhood, personal growth, and ambition. If you’ve ever felt like the people closest to you don’t see how much you’ve grown, or if you’ve questioned your path when validation doesn’t come, this episode will land in your heart.

I unpack the layers of healing that happen once you’ve committed to growth: the old wounds that resurface, the doubts that creep in, and the strength it takes to keep choosing your vision. I also share what it looks like to be the anchor of your own emotional safety, to stop outsourcing your worth, and to keep building your dream life and raising your babies—without losing yourself in the process.

If you’re navigating emotional burnout, relationship tension, identity shifts, or just trying to stay grounded while holding so much—it’s all here. This episode is for the woman who knows she’s meant for more, but sometimes forgets just how powerful she is.

    Key takeaways:

    1. Healing in motherhood isn’t always linear—it’s layered, raw, and often triggered by the people we love most.
    2. Navigating emotional triggers in relationships while growing a business and raising babies is the new feminine edge.
    3. This episode dives deep into how motherhood activates your purpose—and your oldest wounds.
    4. Learn how to validate yourself when external affirmation feels out of reach.
    5. When your partner doesn’t see your growth, here’s how to stay anchored in your truth.
    6. Balancing motherhood, ambition, and healing without losing your identity.
    7. A powerful story on nervous system regulation, self-worth, and emotional resilience.
    8. Why becoming your own biggest cheerleader is essential on your healing journey.
    9. This is what it really looks like to heal while you grow—messy, beautiful, and deeply human.
    10. You don’t have to choose between being an amazing mother and an ambitious woman—you get to be both.

emotional triggers in relationships, healing after motherhood, self-worth and validation, how to stop seeking external validation, motherhood identity crisis, nervous system regulation for moms, how to balance ambition and motherhood, how to heal emotional wounds in a relationship, personal growth after having kids, how to be your own biggest cheerleader

In this episode, I’m sharing something close to my heart—how the smallest, most ordinary moments can actually hold the key to your biggest transformations.

As a holistic mindset coach supporting women through motherhood and beyond, I know how easy it is to lose sight of the bigger picture in the middle of tantrums, to-do lists, and everyday chaos. But here’s the truth: transformation doesn’t happen all at once. It happens in the micro-moments—in how you respond to your triggers, how you speak to yourself, and the energy you choose to bring into your day.

I walk you through a very real moment from my life—navigating a hard day with my two spirited daughters—and show you exactly how I used the tools I teach to reframe my energy, regulate my nervous system, and come back into alignment so I could record this episode from a place of empowerment, not obligation.

    We dive into:

    • Being aware of your emotions and choosing how to respond
    • Reframing frustration into purpose-driven action
    • Building your big vision brick by brick through daily choices
    • Using self-regulation as a superpower when emotions run high
    • Navigating chaos with flexibility, boundaries, and grace
    • Returning to your body to release stored tension and resentment
    • Breathwork and subconscious tools that help you reset in minutes
    • Remembering your “why” when the day feels like a mess
    • Choosing aligned next steps instead of getting overwhelmed
    • Learning to switch hats quickly—without losing yourself in the process

These aren’t just tips—they’re tools I live by. Tools that have changed how I mother, how I build my business, and how I show up for my life. If you’re craving more ease, alignment, and real change (not just surface-level motivation), this one’s for you.
