In this episode, I talk about desire and power as lived experiences, not something to optimize, perform, or moralize, but something that moves with the nervous system.
I share a period where my desire disappeared completely after heartbreak, why I didn’t force it back, and how it slowly returned through imagination rather than another person. We explore why desire often needs safety and containment before it comes back online, and how reclaiming private desire can radically shift your relationship to power.
We also get into the uncomfortable truth that desire can be narrow, specific, and non-negotiable, and that trying to force it out of obligation is a form of self-betrayal. Power, in this context, isn’t about control or options. It’s about choice, self-trust, and the willingness to say no.
