Greg Lopez, 2026 Republican candidate for Colorado governor, joins Ryan to discuss his open letter to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requesting documentation and confirmation on the importation of grey wolves from Canada to Colorado under CITES and ESA authorities.

Citing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and the Endangered Species Act (ESA), Greg contends only the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service can issue these specific federal authorizations to transport the animals across international borders.

Greg details why this particular issue is so important, as opposition to the reintroduction of wolves has grown stronger in the years since voters approved it as a ballot measure in November 2020.
