Defense Mechanism-Sublimation

To sublimate means to "channel", channel something from one form to another-from dark to light. The same thing goes for our unacceptable urges and desires because failing to sublimate our negative urges into positive actions will only end in two ways-we either end up hurting ourselves or end up hurting other people.
