OUR TRIUMPHANT RETURN! That’s right, Children of the Night! It’s the first episode we’ve recorded since we recovered from The Plague, and we… might have gone a little feral with this one. This “Vampire Bite” clocks in at about an hour long, and it is… Well, honestly, we can’t tell you how it is, we were fairly sloshed at the time of recording, and we don’t remember a lot of it!

We do remember having a lot of fun, though, and we hope you do, too! So grab some snacks, get comfy, and get ready to hear us Yell about this delightful trainwreck of a movie.

WE’RE BACK! Sorry about the unexpected break, listeners! As Andrew will tell you in this episode’s into, our household came down with a case of The Plague near the end of December, preventing us from getting this episode edited and uploaded until now! We’re all fully recovered now, and will be working on our backlog in order to get caught up as soon as possible!

Rats rats rats rats rats rats rats… We made it to Episode 2, Children of the Night! Dead and Watching it is officially a SERIES now! For this one, we’re going back to the earliest Dracula adaptation that we have access to (even if Bram Stoker’s wife really wishes we didn’t): NOSFERATU! This is also the first silent film to be discussed on the podcast-- don’t worry, we talk enough to make up for it!

Welcome, Children of the Night, to our very first VAMPIRE BITES episode! Vampire Bites are shorter episodes released in between our main ones, where we watch films that don’t QUITE fit our format, but are relevant enough that we still want to talk about them.

For our first Vampire Bite, we’re talking about The Monster Squad! It’s not a Dracula adaptation, but it does feature Ol’ Drac as the main antagonist, and we’re able to find some more parallels throughout. We always have fun watching this movie, and we hope you have fun listening!
