‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭1‬-‭3‬

““Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

AS SURELY AS CHRIST ROSE FROM THE GRAVE HE WILL COME AGAIN AND HIS COMING NEED NOT SURPRISE US

1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭4‬

“But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.”

Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭

“Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

“And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. “so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.”

“But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

THE LAST CHAPTER OF REVELATION HAS A TRIPARTITE PROMISE FROM THE RISEN LORD THAT HE IS COMING AGAIN

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭7‬

““Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.””

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭12‬-‭13‬

““And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.””

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭20‬

“He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
