First episode was a try out because I wasn't sure on its entirety. I was pleasantly surprised. Voice is plesant, cheerful yet firm. Background sound made it easy listening. Nothing too serious, yet meaningful which I appreciate.

Question: Where do Human Beings get their Dignity? . . . We are all Created to SHARE His own Blessed Life. 🌠 🧬 BEAUTIFUL ❤️

I loved Psalms 19 added at end followed by his mother's plaque Saying ->"when God took Eve from Adam, he did not take her from his head to lord it over him. Nor from his foot to be walked upon by him.

He took her from His Side, To Walk With Him. From beneath his arm to be guarded by him. And Near His Heart To Be Loved By Him."

That wraps this episode in a kind of "blanket of Love" I might say. MEANINGFUL. Thank You Will listen to other episodes.

What an awesome project! These first chapters of the Bible are explained clearly and prayerfully and brilliantly set the course for the days ahead. I am committing myself to 20 minutes early each day. And praying for everyone else who takes this journey with Fr Mike and Jeff Cavins in the days (or years) ahead.

Day 1 & 2 set the course!

I believe to be a significant error. You said that the first creation story is not meant to be taken litterally and the reason you gave is because God started counting days before he created the sun and the moon. You are anthropomorphizing God, don't you think he knows how to measure time without the benefit of the sun and moon? He provides man with the sun and the moon as a way to measure time, he created time and lives independently of its rules. Therefore his creation, (including time, planets, moons, etc) which he spoke into existence, is as sure as his word you are reading. If God's word seems to contradict itself, then you are merely thinking as man and not as God. I can imagine Jesus saying "get behind me Satan!". Let's not make excuses to the created, who are flawed, for the creator, who is perfect.

God does not need the sun to measure time!
