Day 1: Creation and Promise: From the World's Dawn to Bethlehem's Star

God creates the heavens and the earth in six days, forming light, sky, land, seas, plants, stars, animals, and finally humans in His image. On the seventh day, He rests, blessing and sanctifying it. God places Adam in the Garden of Eden, allowing him to eat from any tree except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Will Adam and Eve obey God's command and live in paradise forever?

Matthew traces the genealogy of Jesus Christ, starting from Abraham and highlighting key figures like David and Solomon. The chapter then recounts the miraculous birth of Jesus, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the Virgin Mary, fulfilling ancient prophecies. Joseph, initially troubled, is reassured by an angel and obediently takes Mary as his wife. Will this divine child's birth truly change the course of history?
