In this special episode, recorded live at Revive Now! A Day of Prayer, Renewal and Revival, held on 11 April, David speaks from Joel chapter 2, on 'The Way to Revival'.

"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

"And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Joel 2, NKJV)

When you pray, ask God to lift you onto higher ground – a deeper, stronger faith. Think about climbing a mountain: how do you reach the top? When I’m in Austria, there’s a place I call my “prayer mountain.” I’ve noticed there are two ways up: you can take the cable car, or you can choose the footpath and walk.

Spiritually, I long to be at the summit – to reach the highest place and draw as close to God as possible. So I challenge you: press beyond where you are in your faith and in your prayer life. Don’t settle for where you’ve been. Let’s keep climbing. Let’s go higher.

We need a final Holy Ghost revival to sweep the final ones into the Kingdom of God, as promised in the prophecies of Joel! Prophecy is unfolding fast, and in a different way to what most expected. I will speak more about this here in the UK, because it seems to me that the most neglected prophet is Joel, but all my life I have been greatly influenced by him. Before Covid, we filled the Westminster Central Hall in London to overflowing with more than 2,000 people to pray for our nation. It’s in my heart – if God tells me – to fill it again for prayer, prophecy and healing miracles. But I will only do it if He tells me. I must listen to His Voice!
