  • 8 DAYS OF DATING OPTIMISM: Trust In Your Timing (Day #1)
    Dec 14 2025

As we approach the new year, we're bringing you a special series: the 8 days of dating optimism, where we air the top episodes that restored our hope and confidence in finding our person.

On the first episode, we're chatting with Christina Bradley, the author of 'Which way to Happiness?', about how to reframe those milestone years not as deadlines, but as invitations to get clear on what you want, not what you think you should have by now. If you’ve ever felt behind, out of sync, or worried that you “should have” been further along in love or life, this episode is your reminder that your story is still unfolding beautifully—and on your timeline. Enjoy!

Two thoughts occurred to me. First that a FWB could really be(!) a friend. My college freshman girlfriend was in my life for decades(!). After our boyfriend/girlfriend for a few months we messed around off and on for 20 years. She came to special occasions and we stuck together through thick and thin as long as she wasn't seeing anyone. I'm godfather to her daughter!

Secondly, don't be fooled that a FWB should 'ease" you into sex. The only value your real boyfriend holds is the experience that he(!) gives you. The less you have, the better he feels about it. No man is ever thinking ' I wish someone else had fucked her first'.
