Daryl Mundane; Backstory and Timeline, Part 1.

Daryl Mundane is the quintessential tragic hero of the story who transforms himself from a wounded warrior into the benevolent elder, loved by all. As a young man, he becomes well acquainted with suffering and sorrow from past mistakes and hazardous decisions. He develops an addiction to heroin and alcohol after a harrowing brush with death during the first world war and eventually recovers in New Orleans in the 1920's. Daryl is a brilliant radio and telecommunications engineer and contributes to the advancement of radio in the 1930's and eventually owns and operates an AM radio station with his partner Nick Nicolas in the 40's and 50's. He is the mentor and surrogate uncle of the brilliant Tracy Albright.
