This is a story 200 years in the making - a recreation of Charles Darwin's famous voyage of discovery.

Beyond Borders is in South Africa to meet the young scientists assembled from all over the world trying to save the planet, and the creatures we share it with.

From reintroducing injured penguins to the wild, to stemming the spread of rabies in seals, and emergency operations on giant injured turtles - this is an evolution of the understanding about our precious, natural world.
