    Imogen Heap has launched new AI music tools via the platform Jen, offering “stylefilters” based on five of her songs: “Headlock,” “Goodnight and Go,” “Just For Now,” “Last Night of an Empire,” and “What Have You Done to Me.” These text-based prompts fuse with the chosen song to generate new tracks in that style. Each is available for $4.99. Jen only trains on licensed music and describes itself as an ethical platform.

    Lorde returned with her first single in four years, “What Was That.” After cryptic posts and a surprise appearance in NYC’s Washington Square Park, she debuted the track by lip-syncing it for fans following a permit-related police shutdown.

    Ozzy Osbourne is training for Black Sabbath’s farewell concert on July 5 in Birmingham, marking his first full show since 2018. He’s easing back into performing with daily walks and weight training. A documentary covering his health journey is expected on Paramount+ this fall. The show, titled Back to the Beginning, features a packed lineup including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, and more.

    Green Day will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 1, just weeks after headlining Coachella. Their star will be located near Amoeba Music on Hollywood Boulevard, and the ceremony will be livestreamed.

    The Swell Season is back with their first full album in 16 years. Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová release Forward on June 13. The first single, “Stuck in Reverse,” is out now. The duo rose to fame in Once and won an Oscar for “Falling Slowly.”

    Another member has left A Killer’s Confession mid-tour: guitarist Max Carrillo, who posted on Facebook citing mistreatment. He joined in March, replacing previous guitarist James Skrtich. This follows the earlier departure of drummer Kegan King.

    Telemundo and HYBE Latin America announced Pase a la Fama, a new music competition focused on Regional Mexican bands. Premiering June 8, the show features judges Ana Bárbara, Adriel Favela, and Horacio Palencia. Contestants compete for $100,000 and a record deal.
