BE THE BEST FRIEND TO YOUR CHILDREN OTHERWISE THE VACUUM WILL BE FILLED UP WITH EVIL COMPANIONS

“Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”‬

Isaiah 38:19

The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

Psalm‬ ‭78‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.”

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN THE TRUTH IN LOVE

Ephesians 4:15-16

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Colossians 3:20-21

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. 21Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

DISCIPLINE IN LOVE ❤️ UNDISCIPLINED CHILDREN ARE A DISASTER TO THE FAMILY, THE COMMUNITY AND THE NATION.

Proverbs 29:15

The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭ESV‬

“And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.” It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;”

Administer the rules of the home in wisdom and love, not with a rod of iron. Children will respond with willing obedience to the rule of love. Commend your children whenever you can. Make their lives as happy as possible.... Remember that children need not only reproof and correction, but encouragement and commendation, thepleasant sunshine of kind words. – {Adventist Home p. 18.3}

LOVE TAKES TIME WITH SOMEONE. IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN YOU WILL SPEND TIME WITH THEM

MANY ARE NEGLECTING THEIR FAMILIES FOR THE PURSUIT OF MONEY AND POWER BUT IN THE WORD OF GOD FAMILY COMES FIRST! SHAPING THE CHARACTER OF YOUR CHILDREN IS BETTER THAN PROVIDING THE BEST TEMPORARY NEEDS

Song of Solomon 1:6

Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

Deuteronomy 6:5-9

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Genesis 18:18-19

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

ABRAHAM THE FATHER OF FAITH WOULD GO AND PRAY ALONE WITH HIS SON! HE TAUGHT HIM THE REQUIREMENTS OF WORSHIPING GOD AND THE IMPORTANCE OF TIME ALONE WITH GOD. LET NOT OUR NEGLECT OF SPIRITUAL MODELING LEAD OUR CHILDREN TO REBELLION.

Genesis 22:5-7

And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. 6And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. 7And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

Genesis 24:63

And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming.

GOD WILL CALL US TO ACCOUNT FOR NEGLECTING OUR FAMILIES

Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭17‬ ‭ESV‬

“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.”‬

PRAY THAT YOUR HEART MAY BE TURNED TO YOUR CHILDREN. THERE IS A LONGING IN THE HEART OF EVERY CHILD THAT CAN NOT BE SATISFIED BY SOPHISTICATED TOYS OR MONEY 💰

Malachi 4:5-6

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Saved from Fire and Brimstone Lot

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH DOING BUSINESS BUT PROSPERITY AND WEALTH SHOULD NOT MAKE US LIFT OUR LITTLE FINGERS AGAINST THE ALMIGHTY GOD. SODOM THRIVED IN BUSINESS AND FORGOT GOD. THEY BECAME CORRUPT AND SPIRITUALLY UNFRUITFUL

Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”

Mark 4:18-19

Some, fearing they will suffer loss of earthly treasure, neglect prayer and the assembling of themselves together for the worship of God, that they may have more time to devote to their farms or their business. They show by their works which world they place the highest estimate upon… They make their temporal, worldly interests first, and rob God of the time which they should devote to His service. Such persons God marks, and they will receive a curse, rather than a blessing.— {Christian Service p. 214.1}

“Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? THE SINS OF SODOM WENT BEYOND SEXUAL IMMORALITY AND PERVERSION ACCORDING TO ISAIAH AND EZEKIEL. IT IS ONE THING TO SIN AND ANOTHER THING TO ARROGANTLY PARADE ONE’S SIN‼️

Isaiah‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬

“The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds….

Ezekiel 16:49-50

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

2 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

‭‭ “if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.”

THE GOD WHO RESCUED LOT FROM THE FIRE 🔥 AND BRIMSTONE OF SODOM WANTS TO RESCUE YOU FROM HELL FIRE THAT WAS NEVER MEANT FOR YOU BUT FOR THE DEVIL.

Ezekiel 33:11

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Matthew 25:41-42

Revelation 20:15

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
