Daily Devotions: The Creepers - October 25, 2025

2 Timothy 3:6–9 (ESV) - “For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men.” In today’s Daily Devotions with Pastor David Sumrall, we learn Paul’s warning to young Timothy about those who quietly slip into the lives of believers, spreading false teachings and sowing division. These “creepers” may look spiritual, but their hearts are corrupt and their faith is counterfeit. Pastor Sumrall reminds us that as believers, we don’t need to fight with such people.
