Episode 185 Doe ID 'Blue Pacheco' Patricia 'Patsy' Skiple

A murdered Jane Doe was found at a truck turnout in Santa Clara county, CA in 1993. Remaining unidentified, she became known as Blue Pacheco, after her clothing and dump site location. She remained unidentified for decades, long after a famous serial killer was prosecuted for her murder. Even though justice was served, investigators were determined to give Blue Pacheco her name back – and finally, IGG allowed them to provide answers to her family. Her name is Patsy Skiple, a victim of the Happy Face Killer, Keith Hunter Jesperson.

The case of the little boy abducted and discarded in a dumpster was worked hard by police, but remained unsolved, even as another little boy was taken just three years later. Investigators never forgot Brad Bellino and David Evans, and when modern DNA testing technology came around, they jumped at a new chance to solve the crimes that were a scourge on the town and a black mark on the Boardman police department. Finally, thanks to updated DNA testing and IGG, Brad and David's families have answers, answers that, a half century later, came too late.
