We preview the upcoming Big Lerf fundraiser in Weymouth which promises to be the biggest LRF event in the calendar.

We talk at length (too much some say) about what makes certain methods "cool" thanks to an excellent piece of correspondence from our friend, Jake.

Ad gets excited at the prospect of freshwater champions poaching our saltwater fish and Dan gets equally excited about a Bass comp he didn't fish.

We are back after a reasonable hiatus with our breakdown of the Sea Angling Classic 2025 and full disclosure here, it is one we want to win. Based out of our home town of Portsmouth this event is like no other with big prizes and even bigger boats. The question was could we get the big fish to elevate us from our previous best of 10th place into a podium position. We're back with tales of Lesbos ornithology mixed with ultra clear water fishing. Dan finally banks his first Scorpion fish of the season which officially means light game season is OPEN.

We celebrate our first Ballan boat prize with a PB of 51cm during the Sea Angling Classic Meet N Fish which we are claiming as a worlds first.

There are misty eyes as we mourn the untimely end of one of our favourite charter boats but we look up not down on this pod so its full steam ahead with a bumper lure fishing calendar with hopefully plenty of pod content to enter your ears.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we reveal a lure that has not only accounted for lots of 40cm plus Perch but has also created memories that will last a lifetime. The Keitech Shad Impact unlocked a method that has won us competitions, caught PBs and given two silly saltwater anglers a fighting chance in the freshwater predator angling scene. So, sit back and indulge us as we talk about a soft plastic with such fondness it borders on being creepy!!

We will be Perch fishing up at Rutland in April hence the timing of this one. The sea temps are slowly improving and the sunshine is getting us juiced up for another season but we still hold our stripy friends very dear and will wax lyrical whenever we have the chance.
