Welcome to Day 12 of Divine Hunger — 40 Days of Devotion, Prayer, Fasting & Meditation.

Today’s devotion asks a searching and personal question: Are you truly a friend of Jesus?

📖 Scripture Focus: • John 15:14 — “You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.” • Matthew 6:24 — “No one can serve two masters…” • John 14:15–16 — “If you love Me, keep My commandments…”

Many desire to be associated with Christ by name, yet resist being connected to Him in service and obedience. Jesus makes it clear: friendship with Him is not hidden, private, or conditional. He does not seek secret admirers or closet lovers—He requires public ownership of both His name and His agenda, revealed through our lifestyle and daily conduct.

If He is truly your friend: • You will love what He loves • You will despise what He hates • You will obey what He commands

To claim love for Christ while serving competing loyalties is self-deception. There is no middle ground in God. One must choose between earthly attachment and heavenly substance—between mammon and the Master.

Jesus promises that those who keep His commandments will experience ongoing fellowship with the Father and the Son, through the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. Friendship with Christ brings intimacy, authority, and responsibility.

If you truly love Him, you will also love: • Your fellow believers • The lost and broken • The souls Christ died to redeem

Such love produces boldness. It moves us to speak, to testify, and to declare the hope that lives within us. If boldness is lacking, Scripture invites us to pray for it—just as the apostles did in Acts 4:29–31.

🔥 This devotion is a call to decision: To live openly for Christ, to obey Him without compromise, and to embrace friendship that transforms both heart and mission.

📍 Hosted by Shekinah – Kingdom Ready Nation 🙏 Come surrendered. Come loyal. Come bold as a friend of Jesus.
