    Steven Holbert has studied Taijiquan since 1985 when he started classes with Gloria Jenner at the London YMCA. In 2007, Gloria certified Steven to instruct Taiji at the Phoenix Centre. He joined the Canadian Taijiquan Federation in 2005 and received his certification as a Level II instructor.Over the next years he served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer, President, and now as the Secretary and Chair of the Membership committee.     Mark Wiley is a martial arts grandmaster, doctor of Oriental medicine, author, screenwriter, book publisher, and Film Producer. Owner of Tambuli Media, he was a previous publisher for Multi-Media Books and Martial Arts Illustrated, an associate editor of Journal of Asian Martial Arts, and frequent contributor to Black Belt, Inside Kung-Fu, Karate/Kung-Fu Illustrated among other publications. Mark began martial arts in 1979 in Tae Kwon Do, and over the next 15 years studied a number of additional styles, including Wing Chun, Muay Thai, Malay Silat, until focusing his training on Eskrima and Fujian Five Ancestor Fist (Ngo Cho Kun, Wuzuquan). Since 1994, Mark has been conducting extensive training and research in the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. During that time, he lived in Tokyo and made 20 visits to the Philippines. In 2000, Mark was the first person to conduct martial art research among the MatigSalog tribe of Mindanao, Philippines. At The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology he examined and identified a portion of the museum’s extensive martial artifacts from the Philippines.For the past 20 years he has worked in the US and Asia in the publishing and marketing fields, specifically related to the areas of health, wellness, and martial arts. He has written over 600 articles and 15 books. He is host of the podcast Transformations with Mark V.     Solala Towler has taught Qigong and Daoist meditation for over 35 years and is a founding board member of the National Qigong Association as well as its former President. In the past, he has served as editor/publisher of The Empty Vessel: The Journal of Daoist Philosophy and Practice for 25 years. He has had 12 books published, which have been translated into Dutch, French, Italian and Spanish. He leads tours to visit Daoist temples in the sacred mountains of China. Solala also leads Daoist Gongfu Tea Ceremonies and is author of the books Cha Dao: The Way of Tea: Tea As a Way of Life and Tea Mind Tea Heart.
