    Today we are joined by our special guest Shirley E. Daley Region 8 Advisor all the way from Kingston, Jamaica. 

    After an incredible District 77 workshop on how to be a Club Coach and Mentor, District 77 Public Relations Manager Mckinley Curtis had the opportunity to interview RA Shirley and gain some insight on what has kept her involved in Toastmasters for the past 32 years.

    When asked by Toastmasters World Headquaters why she serves as the Region 8 advisor she replied "People are the lifeblood of the Toastmasters International organization and empowering them to become effective communicators and leaders is not only our mission but our responsibility. I am a consummate professional with an extensive career in finance and education which has resulted in positive people development. I understand the enormous benefit that Toastmasters provides. I want to continue serving on the task force working to empower leader members."

    RA Shirley shared with us that Toastmasters is where experiential learning happens in a self-paced environment, there is no "pass or fail" only growth.
