D. E. I. is NOT a Job… it’s an Assignment! The Fallout behind the Resignation

With all that has played out in the media relating to Dr. Claudine Gay, we have to recognize that there is ALWAYS more to the story...

In case you missed the headlines, "Claudine Gay is an American political scientist and academic administrator who was the 30th president of Harvard University and is the Wilbur A. Cowett Professor of Government and of African and African-American Studies at Harvard." (source -Wikipedia) whose resignation from the role as President at Harvard played out before our eyes I had to place a call to try and gather the reality of how this could happen.

The call was placed to Poor Culture Founder and Holy Queer Author, Rev. Karmen Michael Smith as I was perplexed by the portrayal of the story, I had to phone a friend! Going beyond the general scope of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Karmen helps me to understand the reality that what we see is a larger effort against diversity in traditional spaces.
