    Aurelio C. Hammer is a sound healer, musician, composer and cultural activist, currently based in Auroville, South India. Born in Austria, Aurelio studied linguistics and ethno-musicology before travelling around the world for five years, staying with indigenous communities on every continent and learning more about music and consciousness, harmonic science, and music therapy. In Auroville he established the Mohanam Cultural Centre, and in 2003 started his own project, SVARAM Musical Instruments & Research, a community-based enterprise that designs and produces a large variety of innovative musical instruments, artistic sound installations and facilitates educational programs. https://svaram.org
