Crime spree now being investigated in the Bay Area

Officers are investigating a crime spree that spans multiple counties. As KCBS’ Megan Goldsby reports it involves several carjackings and several officer involved shootings. While many are asleep, hundreds of volunteers are hitting the pavement this morning. They’re part of the 2026 homeless count, a biennial census of un-housed people in the Bay Area. KCBS's Matt Bigler reports from one of the counts in Oakland with more. Napa County is reporting its first case of measles in more than a decade.
