Creating Practitioners with Mindy Cheval

Welcome to the Ad Undergrad Podcast! A show where Katie Moy and Julian Lewis sit down with marketing practitioners to share their experiences, insights and tips from the industry. Katie and Julian are joined by Mindy Cheval, Senior Faculty Member at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Mindy is also the founder of advertising a2b, a program designed to give students an opportunity to be advertising practitioners, and what inspired Julian to start his career as a Media Planner. In this episode, they chat about getting your foot in the door, working harder than anyone else in the room, and finding your magic. Mindy encourages students to stay curious and take advantage of their time in college to learn not only what they want to do, but what they don’t want to do.
