Chapter 19-21
00:30 19 After Isabella’s death, Edgar brings frail Linton home. Heathcliff immediately claims him, sending Joseph to fetch him. Despite Isabella’s wishes, Edgar reluctantly agrees to send Linton to Wuthering Heights.
10:51 20 Linton, ignorant of his father, is sent to Wuthering Heights. Heathcliff, disappointed in his frailty, claims him anyway, plans to secure Thrushcross Grange through him, and elevates Linton over Hareton.
24:47 21 Catherine meets Heathcliff and reunites with weak cousin Linton. Heathcliff favors Hareton but keeps him ignorant. Catherine and Linton mock Hareton’s illiteracy. Edgar forbids contact, but Catherine secretly writes to Linton.
