I have been ITCHING to record a podcast again (literally itching) but my sacral said wait wait wait WAIT WAIT.

I have continued to live nomadically, resolved a cockroach phobia, stopped over sharing my internal experience, my skin peeled off, grew a new one and moved to Sydney.

Now I’m back, planning to show up more present, unfiltered, and authentic than ever.

Is it my desire to make music, or music’s desire to move through me?

Today I’m joined by Katija Burcul – rapper, events creator, radio presenter, dancer, and all-around creative force. We first met at Seven Sisters, a spiritual women’s festival, where we both performed at an open mic and connected instantly.

Though I don’t usually listen to much hip hop, I was moved by Katija’s stage presence, confidence, and powerful, meaningful lyrics. I could feel the importance of her music.

In this episode, Katija shares her journey: from falling in love with dance and chasing her dreams, to building a cleaning business out of necessity, and always being pulled back toward music. We dive into the role of music, community, supporting other artists, and how staying in flow attracts the right opportunities.

Katija is now the co-founder of Ripe Hip Hop, a monthly music event supporting a variety of artists and building community in Melbourne. She’s also launching her radio show Kickin It with Katija on Kiss FM, May 7, and has an album in the works for release in late 2025.

Human Design has changed my life and I am loving the adventure of living by my Strategy and Authority, seeing where it takes me and learning more about myself. In today's episode I go deeper into my experience with Human Design - especially my awareness of codependence. Through January I was feeling stifled and stuck energetically, and then Gate 19 revealed itself. Gate 19 is the Gate of Wanting or Sensitivity - the gift is being highly attuned to the needs of the tribe, the shadow is putting everybody else's needs above your own. This was quite a shock and I realized how much I had been doing out of obligation and expectation, creating a codependent loop.

It felt incredibly freeing to face that pattern and shift it. Thus I have a bit of a rant about my boundaries, tidying things up energetically, respecting my energy and being more selective about who gets access. If you love the podcast, leave a comment. The more I am open to receive, the more interesting the journey becomes.

In this episode I share personal updates with some of my major learnings and unexpected adventures from 2024, (if you love a relaxed conversational episode, then this is for you).

2024 was a whirlwind, I felt blessed to be making music and performing once more, yet it was challenging being in nightlife.

I enjoyed relaxing in my business and going deeper into trust, and this allowed my teachings to be lived and experienced (I am so damn excited to share what I know now).

I learned more about energetic mastery, practicing reality transurfing, studying Human Design and through the art of music.

My relationships evolved, beginning to feel my friends energetically instead of just physically. My discernment and boundaries have increased, in what standards I accept and what I have the energy for.

I have discovered so much about myself and I have an expanded vision for the year ahead.

In 2025 I am leaning further into business and the art of reality creation, as well as expressing myself artistically through music in a way that aligns with me. And I am so open to more magic and adventure from the universe!

Welcoming my dear friend Jaimee Mayne – Author, Healer, Biomedical Engineer, creative and spiritual being. In this episode Jaimee shares her experience with destiny and the divine as she was drawn into the medical world as a biomedical engineer. Alongside these experiences she explored spirituality, eventually becoming qualified in Reiki, Meditation, Cacao Ceremonies and other modalities.

Jaimee has had a unique experience by working in the hospitals of Melbourne during COVID. She shares how this event has changed her and how the experience continues to motivate her. Also the importance of understanding ones experience and how valuable this experience may be to others.

Jaimee also shares the personal evolution that was required to write her book. What it means to tap into the flow, to embrace the waves, the highs and lows, and the natural seasons of life to achieve something meaningful.

Her books will surely be read for years to come.

I loved this conversation as we got to discuss destiny and reality creation; the power of choice and Jaimee’s personal experience with manifesting and expanding her capabilities as a writer and author.
