  • Praise You In This Storm
    Apr 6 2026

Life often brings unexpected storms that leave us confused and questioning God's plan. The story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16 demonstrates that being in a difficult situation doesn't mean you're out of God's will. Despite being beaten and imprisoned for doing God's work, they chose to praise and worship at midnight in their darkest hour. Their response brought God's presence, caused an earthquake that freed all prisoners, and led to the jailer's salvation. When we choose praise over complaint during hard times, we invite God's presence and our testimony can break chains for others watching us.

  • From Table to Table
    Apr 6 2026

Jesus promised His disciples a future feast in God's kingdom, declaring He wouldn't drink wine again until He drinks it new with them in His Father's kingdom. The prophet Isaiah described this eternal banquet as a celebration for all people where God will destroy death forever and wipe away every tear. This universal invitation is extended to everyone, though not all will accept it. The parable in Luke 14 illustrates how God invites the poor, crippled, and outcasts when others refuse His invitation. Securing a place at this table requires confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. We currently live between the cross and this promised celebration, called to live for a kingdom we cannot yet see.

  • How We Invest Our Money Matters
    Mar 23 2026

David's census revealed a dangerous shift from trusting God to trusting in what he could count and control. After facing consequences for his misplaced trust, God commanded David to purchase a threshing floor on Mount Moriah. When offered the land for free, David refused, declaring he wouldn't give God offerings that cost him nothing. This sacrificial purchase became part of God's eternal plan, as the site later became the location for Solomon's temple. David's story teaches us that true kingdom investment requires sacrifice and trust in God rather than earthly security. When we invest in God's kingdom work through generous giving and ministry, our impact reaches far beyond our understanding into eternity itself.
