    With several states taking action on Convention of States this month, Rita Peters and Andrew Lusch run through the latest legislative updates for Convention of States. Then, the Wyoming Senate Judiciary Committee hears from the public on our Article V application calling for a convention to propose constitutional amendments that would impose fiscal restraints, jurisdictional constraints, and term limits on the federal government. Two legislators introduce the resolution and answer committee questions before State Director Julie Baker gives her own remarks. After some "weird" opponent testimony, including from a lobbyist with an organization that has ties to George Soros, the committee takes a vote on whether to send the legislation to the Wyoming Senate for debate. Then, Regional Director Deanna Becket joins the live broadcast to react to the results and preview next steps.
