Construction and Eco Centro

Dr. Stella Lovato, San Antonio College Vice President for College Services, fills in for SAC President, Dr. Solis, this week. Dr. Lovato and Jennifer Johnson, Project Manager (Lockwood, Andrews, and Newnam), talk about the current construction projects on campus. Several projects are set to wrap up this year.

Rose Flores, Director of the Sinkin Eco Centro, also joins the program to talk about resources available to the public and how people can get involved. They have a field adjacent to the SAC Parking Garage next to San Pedro Avenue that is a farm used to grow produce, mainly vegetables. Part of their goal is to teach people how to grow their own food.
