  • What Happened to All the Things We Cared About in 2024? | 4/24/25
    Apr 24 2025
Invasion and inflation. Those were the two big campaign issues. So today, we conduct an examination of where things stand on both of those issues. The reality is that the courts are crushing Trump on deportations, and unless he stands up to the courts, the campaign promises will fall flat. I call on Trump to issue an “executive review” panel to joust with the courts and also pledge not to send out the marshals against red-state officials who ignore rulings they deem unlawful. We also discuss the political situation in Florida and how the vile uniparty RINOs hate DeSantis for using the machinery of government for the betterment of the people and to move the state to the right. What about inflation? We need to stop gaslighting people into thinking we’ve solved the spending problem. I go through some economic data and juxtapose to congressional budget plans to show how we are going backward. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • What’s Next for Gun Rights? | 4/23/25
    Apr 23 2025
Republicans and their cheering fans in Con Inc. media are a bunch of listless vessels with no ideological direction on most issues. The one shining exception is the gun rights movement. We’re joined today by Luis Valdes, national spokesman for Gun Owners of America, for a presentation on where things stand with gun rights both federally and in the states. Valdes celebrates numerous policy and legal successes of GOA, but also warns that there is more to be done. The gaping hole in gun rights is the gun-free zones. As a Floridian, he discusses the lessons of the FSU campus shooter and how RINOs in Florida support gun control without campaigning on it. Also, as a former police officer, Valdes is passionate about the need to treat civilians and police equally. He confronts some of the arguments from police organizations in support of various gun control laws. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • Why the Supreme Court Will Not Save Us from Lower-Court Tyranny | 4/22/25
    Apr 22 2025
Either Trump ignores the courts, or his presidency will end in failure. It’s that simple. Today, I go through a litany of immigration cases to show how far the Overton window has moved in the courts. So even if the Supreme Court magnanimously walks back a few of the rulings, we will still be playing behind par. Also, once again, the Supreme Court appears to be ready to overturn the conservative Fifth Circuit on a health care case, but not overturn liberal circuits. Finally, I discuss the lack of a plan to fortify red states against the hell that is coming our way. RINOs are blocking everything DeSantis wants to do in that regard. Relatedly, I discuss how marijuana is destroying everything in its path and how it’s disgusting that most Republicans refuse to block it in red states. Learn more about your ad choices. • The Blackrobes Are Coming! | 4/21/25
    Apr 21 2025
This weekend, we celebrated the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride. Our Founders fought the mightiest military power at the time over a fraction of the tyranny we face from black-robed judges who have no power whatsoever to rule over the other branches. We’re joined by legal expert Josh Hammer to delve into the unprecedented Supreme Court ruling over the weekend demanding that Trump halt removals under the Alien Enemies Act. Josh breaks down the procedural history to show how this is not a lower-court problem, but a Supreme Court problem. Once again, SCOTUS will not save us; it is part of the problem. He also explains the rationale for his new endeavor at the Article III Project, which seeks to rectify the mistakes of the Republican judicial selection mentality of the past. He offers three criteria he is looking for in Trump judicial nominees. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • The Sickening Persecution of a South Dakota Rancher | 4/18/25
    Apr 18 2025
We begin today with a free-for-all Friday, going through an assortment of news of the day. Also, there is new data regarding the decline of religion in America, and it’s not pretty. Next, we turn to the persecution of Charles and Heather Maude, a South Dakota ranching family facing up to 10 years in prison for simply maintaining a fence that was built before they were born. Given that the Maudes are under gag order, we’re joined by Heather’s parents, Tom and Randi Hamilton, who discuss how the Maudes were given no warning of how to rectify the land dispute with the U.S. Forest Service and instead were served an indictment without the presentation of evidence. Their lives have been upended for a year. We’re also joined by South Dakota House Speaker Jon Hansen, who speaks about his efforts to raise awareness with local elected Republicans and how this is a part of a broader assault on ranchers. Why is the Trump administration continuing this indictment three months into the new presidency? • Why Health Care Sucks and What Ought to Be Done | 4/17/25
    Apr 17 2025
Our health care system sucks, and we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fix it. Yet Republicans are promising to keep every penny of Medicaid and Obamacare. Meanwhile, district judges continue to halt the immigration agenda. So what are we accomplishing? We’re joined today by health care regulatory compliance expert Reg Hislop for an important health care discussion. Hislop notes that there is a $1 trillion annual tab just on administrative compliance with government health care. He also paints a picture of what true health care reform, particularly Medicaid, looks like and why, absent such reforms, we will never solve the health care crisis or the budget crisis. Waste, fraud, and abuse are not bugs in the cog but a feature of the program that must be reformed. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • A State of the Union on the Medical Freedom Movement | 4/16/25
    Apr 16 2025
We begin our discussion by noting that Trump is making a mistake signaling he will never ignore a court. It’s unsustainable when federal courts uphold most Democrat usurpations of power and then “veto” Republican efforts to rescind them. Next, we’re joined by Dr. Ryan Cole, famed Idaho pathologist, for a roundup of successes and failures of the medical freedom movement both in Idaho and nationally. He summarizes the robust medical freedom bill that just passed but also notes how we still have not made progress banning mRNA. He warns HHS not to approve this fast-tracked self-amplifying bird flu vaccine. As always, Dr. Cole explains in laymen’s terms the problem with bombing the immune system with too many of these vaccines, the threat of self-spreading vaccines, and how there is plausible evidence that vaccines might be one of the contributing factors to the rise in childhood illnesses. Finally, Dr. Cole says he is seriously considering running for governor of Idaho. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • Why the Politics of Taxes Is Such a Dumpster Fire | 4/15/25
    Apr 15 2025
On this Tax Day, I explain why taxes are not the issue of our time. Due to withholdings, the progressive nature of the GOP tax cuts over the years, and the change in the politics of most wealthy people, we have no good move to make on taxes. Which is why spending cuts should be the bigger issue. Unfortunately, there is no plan to cut spending. I go through the fake nature of reconciliation, DOGE cuts, and rescissions. We also offer some updates on the courts and immigration and why there will be no mass deportations. Finally, Florida is on the cusp of becoming a fake red state like every GOP supermajority, as Byron Donalds stealthily refuses to take sides in the political civil war.
