About 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we get some insight into that and more with Dr. Mediget Teshome, Vice-Chair, American College of Surgeons Cancer Surgery Standards Program. October is also Hate Crimes Awareness Month. It is an issue that has gotten increased attention in our country because of a soaring number of cases. We discuss it with Michael Lieberman, Policy head at the Southern Poverty Law Center.
