This is a movie that I cannot get out of my head. The way it was shot, the music, the acting, the message…absolutely amazing. I care more about you going to see this movie than I do you listening to this podcast, but if you also enjoyed Sinners, and want to listen to us gush about how much we liked it, we will be here.

It’s March, the Oscars have come and gone, and people are already discussing what could be the best movie of 2025. We, on the other hand, are just now getting around to our “Worst of 2024” list. We are certainly more negative in this particular episode, but if you had to watch all these terrible movies, you would be negative too.

It is that time of year again, a season when we inevitably spend way too much time engaging in discussions about all the movies we loved from the year before. This year, however, we kind of felt like there weren’t as many standout moments or experiences to love, perhaps just a handful of things to like. Even with that sentiment in mind, we still had an absolute blast getting extra long-winded in our conversations and reflections.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Here is our episode on the new romantic comedy/slasher horror film, Heart Eyes. What can we say, we love “love” here at COtR, and we wanted to celebrate with something that fit the theme.

Just in case you don’t know what this movie is about, but still want to see it, we will not talk about any of the plot points in this post. But we did largely enjoy this movie, even if we don’t care for all or one of the actors, and their very punchable face.
