Come As You Are with Helen Duff

De: Helen Duff
  • Resumen

  • "Bold subversive and very funny" (The Scotsman) comedian Helen Duff delves deep with brilliantly open, hilariously insightful folk from across the experience spectrum. While the first two seasons explored different experiences of orgasm and sex, the third season is all about care - who and what we care about, how and why we show care, and what we can do to recognise and value care more widely.
From CEO's to top comedians off the telly, we discuss cleaning, cancer, mental illness, memes, sex work, sharing recipes and much, much more.

"Strap in for a controlled implosion of chaotic beauty, soothing stories, and unforgettable songs - AKA a celebration of early motherhood. As seen/heard on her smash hit podcast ‘Come As You Are’, BBC Two’s The Mash Report, ITV’s The Emily Atack Show, C4, BBC Three and Radio 4. ‘A master of shamelessly silly yet socially conscious clowning' **** (BroadwayBaby) ‘creates a level of intimacy that most acts wouldn’t dare’ **** (The Skinny) ‘Absolutely shameless, boldly ridiculous, embarrassingly funny' **** (TheAustraliaTimes)"
Helen also shouts out former producer of this podcast and top class clown Lorna Rose Treen - you can see the full run of her debut comedy hour Skin Pigeon at The Pleasance Courtyard throughout August at 4.35pm.
Other previous guests performing full runs at the Fringe Festival this year include the amazing Jodie Mitchell, Olga Koch, and Leila Navabi ... Don't miss their shows!
