This is a departure from my normal format of the podcast, but when I got the chance to interview Rob Rushing at Riot Fest in 2024, I had to do it by any means necessary. I didn't know I was going to meet him, so I had none of the things I usually use to do podcasts with me, so I had to improvise -- but man, so worth it.

Rob is a co-founder of the nonprofit organization Punk Rock Saves Lives (PRSL). Rob shares his inspiring journey from working in record stores and singing in bands to founding a charity that focuses on mental health, harm reduction, and community support within the punk rock scene.

Rob discusses the origins of PRSL, which was born out of the closure of Love Hope Strength's American outreach. Determined to continue making a positive impact, Rob and his wife Tina launched PRSL to provide resources like Narcan and earplugs at shows, create supportive online communities for mental health discussions, and assist musicians struggling with addiction and mental health issues.​

Landon Tengwall is an American sports journalist, host, and former Penn State football player. He is known for his coverage and analysis of Penn State Football, as the host and creator of The Landon Tengwall Show (formerly Behind the Wall with Landon Tengwall). Having announced his retirement from football prior to the 2023 season due to an injury, in this recently unearthed podcast episode, we catch a glimpse into the timecapsule that is Landon's life right when he was deciding to be the Penn State Football media mogul that he has become.
