Everybody has a "first" in their life—something that gets top priority.

"He's also the head of the body, the church; he's the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything." - Colossians 1:18

The Colossian believers started blending their faith with cultural trends, but Paul reminds them: Jesus + something else hinders everything. Jesus + nothing else changes everything. 🙌

What's truly first in your life today? Not what you want to be first, but what your schedule, spending, and thoughts reveal is actually first?

The first Easter wasn't met with immediate celebration—it was met with doubt. Mary thought someone had stolen the body. The disciples hid behind locked doors. Thomas refused to believe without proof.

But when they encountered the risen Jesus, everything changed. Doubt became faith. Fear became courage. Mourning became celebration.

"Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believe." - John 20:29

Jesus knew the crowd's expectations - they wanted a conquering king on a warhorse. Instead, He came humbly on a donkey, choosing the cross over the crown we all would have chosen.

"You would have no authority over me if it hadn't been given to you from above" (John 19:11). Even on trial, Jesus remained in complete control, willingly laying down His life.

The King who deserved the crown chose the cross - for you, for me, for all of us. That's love beyond measure. ❤️✝️
