FC Cincinnati have started the season with a frustrating road slate, losing their first three away matches of the 2026 season. It doesn't help that they encounter a team they couldn't solve at home, but perhaps that allows for some sort of comeuppance if FCC can figure out Toronto FC.

The Boys in Red have capitalized on their first home slate of the season, winning two and drawing one to start at BMO Field. In fact, Toronto is undefeated over their last ten home matches stretching into last season.

So how does Cincinnati right their ship? We talk with John, founder and writer for TFC Republic, to get knowledge on how Toronto's offense has been reenergized and if they could find another three points against the Orange & Blue.

FC Cincinnati came out of the international break with a new look in the formation but fell at Red Bull New York 4-2. Jason, Coach and Cliff break it all down.

With the international break completed, the Orange & Blue square against a familiar foe in a not-so-familiar landscape. The red side of New York wants to forget 2025 so badly that they have tweaked their team name and made a big name their new head coach. Michael Bradley's first five matches have been a mix of progress and regression, with Red Bull winning twice but losing two of their last three.

So how do the Red Bulls return to prominence after missing their first MLS playoff in 15 years? Will the fountain of youth in the academy fuel New York's offense? Are there any warm bodies that can help on defense after their 6-1 loss at Charlotte?

The clubs take some early time off for the sake of country. Time to take an international break and view the U.S. soccer landscape from 30,000 feet.

As much as FC Cincinnati occupies a lot of our attention, the competitive environment has expanded greatly nationwide. Even in the Tri-State area has fortified itself since the MLS call-up. Lexington SC is splashing cash to challenge Lou City in USL Championship, Indiana's Fort Wayne FC made the jump to USL League One, and Forest City Cleveland will challenge for Ohio in the 2027 MLS Next Pro season.

So how do the lower leagues look in 2026, both on the pitch and on the hangers? We've asked Brett Mullenix from KIT SZN and The USL Show to give us his general glance at lower-league coverage and pick out his favorite kits from the USL universe.
