God places unique purpose and calling inside each person, but that calling often attracts opposition and hardship. Joseph’s life shows that favor does not remove trials—it requires character, humility, and trust in God through them. In the end, what others intend for harm, God uses for good, positioning us to influence and impact others.

  • Resurrection Celebration
    Apr 5 2026

Humanity needed a Savior because all people have sinned, and sin brings death, separating us from God. Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies of the Messiah, proving He is the promised Savior who came to redeem us. Our response is to believe in His resurrection, confess Him as Lord, and experience new life through Him.

  • Distance From Your Disarray
    Mar 30 2026

Peter’s denial of Jesus shows how easily we can fall into disarray, but failure doesn’t have to define us. Scripture teaches that what we sow determines our future, and choosing the Spirit leads to growth, restoration, and purpose. Like Ruth, we are called to move forward in obedience and maturity, living as heirs of God and leaving our past behind.

  • Holy Edges
    Mar 16 2026

Pastor Owen Mason teaches that believers are given a powerful offensive weapon in spiritual warfare: the Word of God, described in Ephesians as the “sword of the Spirit.” Jesus demonstrated how to use this weapon when He defeated Satan’s temptations in the wilderness by responding with Scripture. The Holy Spirit also brings God’s Word to our remembrance (rhema), giving believers the right truth at the right moment. Because of this, Christians must spend time regularly in Scripture so they are equipped for spiritual battles. Finally, prayer works alongside the Word as a spiritual weapon, and believers are called to practice many forms of prayer—such as consecration, petition, authority, thanksgiving, supplication, and intercession—following the ACTS pattern of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication.

  • Divine Dome
    Mar 8 2026

Pastor Owen Mason’s message “Divine Dome” focuses on the helmet of salvation described in Ephesians 6:17 and how it protects the believer’s mind. The sermon begins by reminding us that all people have sinned and that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for us while we were still sinners. Through Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection, believers are freed from sin and given new life with no condemnation for those who are in Him. Understanding our identity in Christ is crucial because the enemy often tries to distort truth and create doubt about God’s word. When we live in the security of our salvation, our thoughts, words, and actions begin to produce the fruit of a transformed life.

  • Renew and Refill: Faith
    Mar 1 2026

In “Renew and Refill: Faith,” Pastor Owen Mason presents faith as God’s gift that is received through hearing His Word, anchored in His promises, and expressed through humble obedience. Faith is not self-generated effort but a response to grace; salvation is given by God, and believers are created for good works that flow from that gift. God’s promises shape daily life by calling believers to remember His benefits, trust His unbreakable love, and live with sober humility. True faith is active—belief naturally produces action, just as a living body shows signs of life.

Faith also functions as spiritual protection. Like a shield, it extinguishes accusation, fear, and condemnation by resting in Christ’s finished work. Through faith, sins are removed, hope is secured, and believers are guarded by God’s power. The call to humility, repentance, and submission to God invites His grace while resisting the enemy’s influence. Faith draws believers near to God, who responds with restoring presence and strength.

Biblically, faith is confident assurance in God’s unseen reality and trust in His creative, sustaining word. The gospel accounts reveal that human inability highlights Christ’s authority; faith looks beyond personal weakness to divine power. Ultimately, faith renews the mind, refills the heart with hope, and directs believers toward obedient, grace-empowered living. It is both defensive armor and forward movement—grounded in God’s character, sustained by His promises, and proven through transformed lives that reflect His glory.

  • Peace in the Storm part 2
    Feb 22 2026

Picking up again with “Peace in the Storm,” Pastor Owen Mason reminds us that spiritual battles are real, but so is the peace of Christ. Drawing from Ephesians 6, believers are called to stand firm—fastening on truth, righteousness, salvation, and especially the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Peace is not passive; it is armor. The enemy often attacks through anger, fear, and hidden sin—asking us, “Who are you mad at? What are you afraid of? What are you hiding?” Yet Romans declares we are more than conquerors through Christ.

There are two types of peace: peace with God (and one another), secured through Jesus’ sacrifice, and the peace of God, which guards our hearts and minds. Through Christ, we have been brought near and hostility has been destroyed. We don’t fight for peace—we fight from peace.

Acts 16 shows Paul and Silas worshiping in prison at midnight. Though beaten and chained, they sang. Their inner peace preceded their outward deliverance. God shook the prison, not just to free them, but to save the jailer and his household. Storms become stages for salvation.

True peace comes when our minds stay fixed on God (Isaiah 26:3), when we replace anxiety with prayer and thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6–7), and when we let Christ’s peace rule our hearts (Colossians 3:15). The God of peace ultimately crushes Satan under our feet.

No matter your storm, Jesus Himself is your peace.
