This episode is in honor of International Women's Day in 2023. "DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality" is the theme. We invited Bolanle Banwo Osadolo, the founder of Geneza School of Design, and Blessing Abeng, the Co-founder and Director of Communications at Ingressive for Good. These two prominent women in the Edutech sector are driving the women in tech movement. They shared their experiences with technology-enabled gender-based violence and offered insights into how we can continuously practice equity and close the tech/skill gap for women and other marginalized groups.

Moyin is a Nigerian tech bro who recently relocated to the United Kingdom to resume his job as a product designer with Bookings. He joined us on our podcast today to discuss why most techies are relocating abroad, despite the fact that startups in Africa raised over $4.84 billion USD in 2022, with Nigeria startups securing the highest amount in about 19%.

Aise gave so many definitions to sapa (a Nigerian slogan for being broke). In his words, he said, "sapa comes in the clothing of responsibility, flex and balling". We were able to establish some of the fundamental causes of sapa, which are economic inflation, the big 4 staff downsize that took place last year, and also cryptocurrency deep.
