    This weekend, a young man whose high school career I covered shouted me out as "Mr. Stevens" and it made me feel old as fuck but honored that his folks gave him such a nice upbringing.

    It made me think of my own upbringing, as well as other thoughts about how accountability matters when making your way through adulthood.
