Choosing the Kingdom of God - Homily 12th March 2026

Jesus reminds us that there is no neutral ground in our relationship with Him: “Whoever is not with me is against me.” We either live by the values of God’s Kingdom or we slowly drift toward the ways of the world. A divided heart cannot stand.

Just as Jeremiah faithfully proclaimed God’s message despite the people’s stubborn hearts, we too are called to persist in obedience, prayer, and humble service, even when others resist or mock the truth. Our words, actions, and faithfulness are not in vain; each act of love, mercy, and integrity contributes to God’s Kingdom. Let us examine our lives: are we sowing seeds of light or allowing division and darkness to prevail?

Reflection Question: In what areas of my life am I hesitating to fully stand with Christ, and how can I actively build God’s Kingdom through my choices, words, and actions today?
