Chapter 7: Beach Episode

After many months of investigating, I finally managed to break into the main office. There were a lot of documents and files scattered everywhere, along with another disc found on the desk in front, appearing to be some kind of summer-themed DLC. This one, however, was labeled as "DEFECTIVE" for some odd reason. Though I am shocked that this disc runs at all, I unearthed something very shocking. On the desk, I found plans for what appears to be some cryostasis pod. The footnotes on the plans seem to suggest that this was some sort of VR 2.0 idea that the company had, though the budget required to make these pods was EXTREMELY costly, especially in the 90s, possibly explaining why the company shut down. Developer notes for the Caine AI used in the game were also found. The report implied that Caine would often glitch when processing new information from the user. It also seemed to gain intelligence about the outside world that he refers to as "The Macroverse". Logs suggest he wanted to explore it, but thankfully, the game dev logged that the company put up a firewall, blocking Caine's access. As for what plans he has for our world, I am not sure at the moment. I found a door to what appears to be the company's master server room. Hopefully, I can find a way in there to finish this before something bad starts soon.

Ok the whole episode was kinda useless cause our ideas and the lore and explanation was ALL FAKE LIKE HOW ARE WE supposed to wrap up the story with only 2 episodes left?!?!?!?! Anyway pretty good tho-
