Since Larry could easily find Aunt Lori, it was decided that Jonnie and Bethany were to stay with Aunt Lori’s best friend, Dianne. Once Bethany was enrolled in Du Pont Tyler Elementary, unbeknownst to them, Larry was already working doggedly behind the scenes to track Bethany- he was listing every school from Illinois to southern Tennessee and calling them one by one. And it would be on January 31st, 2001, that he would find Bethany– which is one day before her 11th birthday."
