Acerca de esta escucha
You might recognize the saying “change yourself to change the world.” It’s an idea that a fair number of movement leaders have leaned into throughout history. In this episode, we explore the ideas that come from the life, activism, and teachings and ways of being of a beautiful ancestor, Grace Lee Boggs and how they will help us get to housing justice. Alexander “Lex” Rey Perez (Ifa Segun Funmi) joins us in this episode to talk about his ideas on collective responsibility and who we are in conversation, shifting from being thing-oriented to person-oriented in our housing systems, and how grace and gratitude might lead us to the housing future we want to see.
