Something special is happening at South River High School. Our girls basketball team stands at the precipice of making school history as they prepare to face Oakland Mills for the state championship tonight at the University of Maryland.

This marks South River's third state championship appearance in program history and first since 2005 – a testament to how rare and precious this opportunity is.
