Today, we’re shedding light on a deeply tragic and shocking shooting that took place on the night of January 9, 2026, in Cedarbluff, Mississippi, where six lives were lost at the hands of a 24-year-old man named Daricka M. Moore.
Now, Cedarbluff is a small, close-knit rural community, making these events even more heartbreaking. It was an evening when what should have been a peaceful night turned into a sequence of violence and horror. Moore's rampage began within his own family, targeting those he knew best. Tragically, he shot and killed his father, 67-year-old Glenn Moore, his brother, 33-year-old Quinton Moore, and his uncle, 55-year-old Willie Ed Guines, all in their mobile home.
