  • God Gives You No Grace for Imaginary Problems
    Jan 28 2026

Are you exhausted from worrying about things that haven't even happened yet?

In this episode, I share one of the most life-changing truths the Lord has taught me: God gives us grace for the problems He asks us to carry — but He gives us no grace for imaginary problems.

If you're a Catholic mom who feels overwhelmed, heavy, or constantly anxious about the future, this teaching will help you set down burdens God never asked you to carry in the first place.

In this episode, we talk about:
    - Why God gives you enough grace for today's crosses
    - How worrying about the future drains your peace
    - The difference between prudence and spiritual dramatization
    - Why imaginary problems feel so heavy
    - How to ask the Lord what He actually wants you to carry right now

If life feels heavier than it should, this episode may show you exactly why.

    I'm praying for you.
    Please pray for me.

  • Mid-January Update
    Jan 27 2026

🍪 Cookies and Cream equip is my new fav.

I'm sharing a real look at mom life lately — what our days actually look like right now in the middle of winter.

    I talk about:
    - Teen life and having a daughter who's about to start driving
    - How ski season shapes our family rhythm
    - Homeschool life and teaching in a co-op
    - Why winter can feel heavier for so many moms
    - Simple things I'm enjoying lately, like tea, baths, puzzles, and slowing down

This isn't a lifestyle channel, but I do like to check in from time to time and share what life looks like behind the scenes — not as something to copy, but as encouragement to live your vocation with confidence and peace.

I truly believe God made you to be a very specific kind of mom. Your life doesn't need to look like anyone else's.

    I'm praying for you.
    Please pray for me.

  • Why You're Worrying About Things God Never Gave You
    Jan 27 2026

Are you constantly worried — even about things you can't actually control?

I share a simple but powerful analogy I gave a client that completely changed how she thought about stress, responsibility, and interior peace.

As Catholic moms, we often carry weight that God never asked us to carry.

    We worry about outcomes.
    We worry about the future.
We worry about things that are not actually in our domain.

And all of that worry quietly steals our peace.

    In this episode, you'll learn:
    - Why worrying about the "mortgage" (literal or metaphorical) is draining you - How to tell the difference between what's yours to carry and what belongs to God
    - Why God gives grace for real problems — but not imaginary ones
    - How to let go of the background worry that never seems to turn off If you're a Catholic mom who feels like she's always holding something heavy in the back of her mind, this video is for you.

    I'm praying for you.

    Please pray for me.

  • Stop Being so Mean to Yourself
    Jan 27 2026

     Link to crown: https://amzn.to/46gS8Sy

Most moms are walking around all day with a quiet (or not-so-quiet) thought running in the background:

    I'm a bad mom.

In this episode, Sterling Jaquith gently but firmly challenges that belief.

If you care about your kids…
If you worry about their faith…
If you're trying, learning, apologizing, showing up, and loving imperfectly…

You are not a bad mom.

Sterling breaks down why this thought is so common, how it hurts us, and why believing it actually makes motherhood harder—not better. You'll learn why beating yourself up doesn't make you a better mom, how your thoughts affect your energy and patience, and what changes when you begin telling yourself the truth instead.

This episode is especially for Catholic moms who:

    • Feel constant guilt or shame about their parenting

    • Compare themselves to other moms

    • Believe they should be "doing better" somehow

    • Want more peace, confidence, and joy in motherhood

Sterling also invites you to take this struggle to prayer and ask Jesus to show you the ways He is already proud of you.

    You are a good mom.
And learning to believe that can change everything.

🙏 I'm praying for you. Please pray for me.

  • 2 Keys to Internal Peace
    Jan 21 2026

In today's episode, I share what I believe are two of the biggest keys to interior peace—especially for moms who feel tired, overwhelmed, or stuck in resistance to their daily lives.

First, I talk about how to have a bad day well: how to recognize what's happening in your body, care for yourself with compassion, and decide what kind of day you actually need. Then I share the second key—learning to see the work and responsibilities of your life as missions given to you by the Lord, which changes everything about how they feel.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • What to do when you wake up already having a bad day

    • "Bunny slippers days" vs. days where you still have to show up

    • How biology, thoughts, and emotions work together

    • Why willingness is often closer to peace than happiness

    • How clarity about what God is asking you to do creates calm and purpose

At the end of the episode, I also share an important announcement about the future of the podcast and Catholic Mom Calm, including what's coming next and how you can help me reach more moms.

If you want to feel calmer, more grounded, and more aligned with what God is asking of you—this episode is for you.

  • Being Well Taken Care Of
    Dec 31 2025

In today's episode, I talk about what it really means to feel well taken care of — and why that feeling isn't created by our circumstances, but by our thoughts.

I share the powerful story of Corrie ten Boom and the fleas, along with real examples from my own marriage, motherhood, and Christmas experiences, to show how the story we tell ourselves shapes how we experience our lives.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Why feeling well taken care of is a state of mind, not a fact

    • How the "I'm not well taken care of" story creates resentment and loneliness

    • Why complaining can feel like connection (and how it often backfires)

    • What changes when you choose to believe, "I am so well taken care of"

    • How this mindset helps you care for yourself, your kids, and your marriage with more peace

I also share an invitation to join Mary's Heart, Martha's Order, a six-week challenge starting in January to help you build real interior peace — no matter what's happening around you.

eeling stressed, tired, or disheartened this Christmas season? You're not broken — you're carrying a lot. In this episode, Sterling talks about why so many moms feel disappointed at Christmas (even when they "did everything right"), and how to prevent that disappointment before it hits.

    • The 4 common places Christmas disappointment shows up (and why)

    • What to do when you feel like you have to do everything

    • How to handle kids being disappointed without shaming them

    • How to deal with disappointment around gifts (giving and receiving)
