Meet Cate--a gifted farmer with a seasonal booth at the Audubon Park Community Market and just one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. The name Open Hands Farm comes from the spirit of abundance and generosity; plus a willingness to let go and surrender to what life brings you. Cate is wise beyond her years with a sustainable agriculture degree, plus a lifelong interest in growing food. We talk about her farming journey through New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maine; and how her Farm Manager job in Ft. Meyers prepared her for running her own farm right here in the Greater Orlando (Longwood) area.
